Mill Hill

Cordyceps gracilis - Leigh Provost
An interesting visit to Mill Hill where I managed to record all of the target moth species I had for the day. Whilst looking for the moths I mananged to find a very interesting fungi which I had seen before at Southwater. It is called Cordyceps gracilis and is parasitic on the caterpillar of the Common Swift moth. Also saw a few Grizzled Skipper, a single Dingy Skipper and one probable Adonis Blue caterpillar.
