Melodious Warbler - Leyton |
A bit of a mission for a lifer and two year ticks yesterday but was well worth it. First stop was Leyton to have a look at a London mega in the form of this Melodious Warbler (255) which was showing well and singing very often. I then headed to Landguard but couldn't find the female Serin. Next stop was Strumpshaw Fen RSPB where I had good scope views of the singing male Savi's Warbler (256) which was a lifer for me. Also added Bearded Tit (257) to the year list finally!
