Purple Heron - Dungeness RSPB

Sadly not been able to do much yearlisting with MD and ME lately which has meant we have all missed various birds which has been annoying as it then becomes expensive! Anyway...whilst I was looking at the Roller in Yorkshire the boys were watching probably the same Purple Heron I saw today at Pagham. I must thank Martin for his text updates which helped in pinning down the the bird for me. It was a lovely looking bird which showed nicely, albeit briefly in flight. Another on the yearlist 28 to go!!!
