Black-throated Diver - 1st Winter

After doing some Christmas shopping I decided to pop in to Princes Park late afternoon in poor light and drizzle to have a look at the first winter Black-throated Diver which had been present a week or so. It was still present and showing ridiculously well and the pictures show how dark it was! Probably the strangest bird that was at Princes Park however was a drake Wigeon which was eating bread and calling continuously, never seen one eat bread before or one at Princes Park!
