Finally had another go at twitching one of these after planning to go for the one which was at Dungeness yesterday but it did a bunk so I managed to talk Matt into coming with me. After a short wait we heard the bird calling and then singing its delightful song.
Sadly views were awful and we had to settle for three flights views and a few seconds of it perched low in Broom scrub where it was singing from. Amazingly it was perched just six inches off the floor when singing!
