Mercers Lake and Spynes Mere

No sign of the Common Scoter on Mercers but drk Scaup still. Elsewhere single Little Ringed Plover on both Mercers West Lake and Spynes Mere. Also on Mercers West were: 1 Goldeneye (fem), 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 White Wagtail. A handful of Whitethroat and lots of Blackcap and Chiffchaff in the bushes. Plenty of Sand Martin and Swallow and a few House Martin busily feeding over the pits.
