Arlington Reservoir

Dunlin

Dunlin

Redwing

Lapwing
A boot around the res produced the Slavonian Grebe again as well as a few patch year ticks which included Dunlin, Peregrine and Yellowhammer. The Dunlin was my first January record at the reservoir which is quite interesting...for me anyway! Otherwise pretty quiet a few more Teal (168) in today and the Wigeon numbers had reduced. No diving ducks at all which was a shame. Thrush numbers have really picked up with Song Thrush being the commonest seen today. There were also 4 Lapwing knocking around on any unfrozen patches they could find.
