A pretty gloomy visit which was cut short by misty drizzle that set in. Finally managed a few hirundines with a smattering of Sand Martin and Swallow passing through just before the weather set in which were both first for the year. Highlight was the 1st Brent Goose of the year for me at the Res which was feeding on the pasture below the dam wall.
