Arlington Reservoir - Serious bout of thrush!

A fantastic visit with finally some decent numbers of birds. The farmer has spread a load of dung on one of the fields which has produced a mega-flock consisting of vast numbers of Starling, Redwing and Fieldfare which was excellent. I have never seen such a big flock of thrushes in particular in March as for some reason they usually move off in late Feb from the reservoir surrounds.

Totals below:

Red-throated Diver - 1
Teal - 7
Stock Dove - 2
Redwing - 150+
Fieldfare - 150+
Starling - 200+
Grey Wagtail - 1
